Another day on the chase, another few very good shots, the bird number have dwindled since the last time i was there however still shots to be had if you are patient enough

Very cold on the chase today.  Spent most of my time near the glacial boulder and in the valley. :

A very cold and frosty Chase day, -4 at times but does give a scenic view.  Managed to get quite a few shots of the stag today at dusk when they come out of hiding to feed.

Back to the chase today around 2pm to catch the last of the light before night.  Managed to catch a few deer and some birds today.  It can be a little tricky to catch the deer especially with lots of people around however managed a few :-)

Been back to the chase again today 4th January to focus again on birds as i wish to improve my fast speed photography and small birds are ideal as the are fast so provide a good subject.

All the shots below are with a canon 50d and 55-250mm is lens.  There are certain places on Cannock chase that are ideal for photographing birds in their natural habitats and sometimes if you are lucky the deer pass by which also gives you an oppotunity to photograph them too :-)

30th december on the chase

Been to the chase and went with a view to photograph wildlife, especially robins.  I especially like Robins this time of year as always remind me of winter and xmas.
